When is it a good fit?

A craft brewery wants its own coasters for a beer festival.
A café adds a menu QR code and a lunch offer under every mug.
A company gives out logo coasters as a light gift for clients.

How to choose

Decide in this order.

Shape
Pick a square (with square, rounded or cut corners), circle, hexagon, pentagon, rosette, barrel or a decorative 100×100 mm shape. Circle and square are the classics, and the barrel suits a beer hall.
Paper
Invercote Creato, Arktika GC1 and Kraftliner are all 300 gsm. BEERMAT board at 1.4 mm is the thickest and the traditional choice for beer mats. Choose it when the coaster sits under a beer glass.
Lamination
Lamination protects the colour. Kraftliner and BEERMAT are best left without it. On Arktika or Invercote it can work, if the coaster is mainly there to advertise.
One side or two
Single-sided is enough when the underside is purely practical. Double-sided gives you a second face for a QR code, a promotion or a game for guests. BEERMAT board can't be combined with 4/4 printing.

Print files

Pick the shape first, then design the file for it with room for bleed. Save a CMYK PDF and keep key elements away from the edges, especially on rounded shapes. We'll check the file before printing.

FAQ

What should a beer mat be made of?

BEERMAT board at 1.4 mm works best. It's thick and the traditional material for the job.

Can I get a square with rounded corners?

Yes, the 93×93 mm square comes in three variants: square, rounded or cut corners.

How long does production take?

Standard is 3–4 working days from file approval. Express takes 1–2 days with a 30% surcharge, for orders placed by 1 pm.

What's the minimum quantity?

From 100 pieces, in any quantity above the minimum.

Will the configurator block some combinations?

Yes. Some pairings of paper with printing or lamination are unavailable, such as BEERMAT with double-sided 4/4.
