When is it a good fit?
Waiters jot orders on scraps of paper and the kitchen can't read the table number.
Five extra staff join for the summer terrace season and you're short of pads.
A bar wants its own field for allergy notes, without anyone drawing a table by hand.
How to choose
Decide in this order.
Pad size
A6 (105×148 mm) gives the most room but won't fit a small apron pocket. DL (99×210 mm) and 70×160 mm are narrow and sit comfortably in the hand.
Number of sheets
You can pick 25, 50 or 100 sheets per pad. For a busy restaurant take 100, so nobody has to swap pads mid-shift.
Paper
Uncoated paper in 80 gsm, 90 gsm or 120 gsm. Lighter paper is easier to write on with a quick pen, heavier paper is stiffer and creases less in a pocket.
Field layout
Single-sided 4/0 printing is enough for a typical form. Double-sided 4/4 helps when you want a list of dish codes or allergen rules on the back. You decide the field layout yourself.
Number of pads
Quantities go up in steps of 8, from 16 to 128. Count one pad per waiter for every two weeks and add a reserve.
Print files
Design the form as a CMYK PDF with a 3 mm bleed. Leave fields for the table number, items and notes, and draw the writing lines in light grey so they don't clash with the pen. Our designer will check the file before printing.
You upload the file at the print shop after “Go to checkout”.

FAQ
Do you supply a ready-made form layout?
The configurator has no ready-made layouts. You can order a basic design service or send your own field layout.
Why do quantities go up by 8?
That's how pad production is counted. The minimum is 16, and each next step adds 8, up to 128.
How firmly are the sheets glued?
The pads are glued, so sheets tear off one at a time. We don't quote glue strength figures, because our specification doesn't include them.
How long is the wait?
3–4 working days from file approval, for orders placed by 1 pm. Express: 1–2 working days, with a 30% surcharge.
Can I add the restaurant logo?
Yes. Printing is in full colour, so you can put your logo at the top of every sheet.
