When is it a good fit?

You run a bistro and change the daily menu every day.
A café needs a quick drinks card for a dozen or so tables.
A bar wants a slim DL cocktail card on the counter.

How to choose

Decide in this order.

Menu size
A5 and DL suit small tables and drinks-only cards. A4 is the usual size for a food menu, A3 works on a wall or board. The 150×300 and 300×300 mm sizes give an unusual card that guests remember.
Paper
120 gsm uncoated paper and thin coated paper are good for a menu you change daily and throw away. 250 or 350 gsm coated paper suits a card meant to last a few months. The more often you replace it, the thinner the paper can be.
Lamination
Lamination is only available on 250 gsm and 350 gsm coated paper. Gloss, matt or soft-touch protects against stains. Uncoated and thinner coated papers come without it.
One side or two
4/0 printing works when your whole offer fits on one side. With 4/4 you can put drinks, desserts or allergens on the back.

Print files

Prepare a CMYK PDF with a 3 mm bleed. If you're ordering double-sided printing, include both sides in one file. Tiny letters are hard to read by candlelight, so stick to a legible size. We'll check the file before printing.

FAQ

Can I laminate a menu on 135 gsm coated paper?

No, lamination only works on 250 gsm and 350 gsm coated paper. The configurator will show the available combinations.

I need a menu for tomorrow.

Express takes 0–1 working days with a 30% surcharge, for orders placed by 1 pm. The Eco version has express in 2–3 days.

What's the smallest order?

Classic from 25 pieces, Eco from 50 pieces.

Which size works for a wine list?

DL or 150×300 mm often works well, because a slim card sits nicely on the table next to a glass.

How is this different from a folded menu?

Here you get one flat sheet with no folding. The folded menu has several panels and its own product page.
