When is it a good fit?

You want to show your menu, a map and opening hours on a single sheet.
An exhibitor needs a leaflet that fits in the palm of a hand once folded.
A travel agency puts a three-panel offer with a QR code into envelopes.

How to choose

Decide in this order.

Fold type
A4 folded to DL is the most popular slim leaflet. A4 to A5 gives you a booklet, A3 to A4 a large folder, and 3× A4 to A4 a long concertina. Smaller sheets, such as 30×15 cm, fold down to a square.
Panel order
First decide what the reader sees on the outside and what appears when they open it. The front page sells, the middle explains, and the last panel collects the contact.
Paper weight and creasing
Thin 135 gsm folds easily but has less stiffness. At 250 gsm and 350 gsm the crease comes out even, and lamination protects the fold. Satin 300 gsm gives a smooth, subtle look.
Paper line
Classic is the fastest and comes with lamination. Eco and Prestige offer natural or specialty papers, without lamination.
Starting quantity
In Classic the minimum is 25 pieces, so you can print a trial batch before a big run.

Print files

Work on the flat sheet and mark the fold positions, keeping text and faces in photos off those lines. Add a 3 mm bleed, colours in CMYK. Remember that printing is always double-sided.

FAQ

How many panels does a folded leaflet have?

That depends on the fold you choose. There are two-panel layouts such as A4 to A5, and three-panel ones such as 3× A4 to A4.

Can I print a folded leaflet on one side?

No, it's always double-sided, 4/4. The inside and the outside are two separate faces, after all.

Is the leaflet creased before folding?

Yes, creasing along the fold is part of the order.

How long does express take?

Classic: 1–2 working days, Eco and Prestige: 2–3 working days. Express costs +30%, and the order has to be in by 1 pm.

Can I order 30 pieces as a test?

Yes, the minimum in the Classic line is 25 pieces.
